TEHRAN – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif is scheduled to start trips to a number of countries in the Middle East region on Saturday.

He plans to arrive in Kuwait and Qatar on Saturday and visit the cities of Najaf and Baghdad in Iraq on Sunday.
Zarif will return to Iran on Monday.

He is scheduled to hold talks on important regional issues and the nuclear deal between Iran and the 5+1 group (the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany).

Iran and the six major powers reached a nuclear agreement on July 14.
